If I could change one thing about my writing
If I could change one thing about my writing it would be the level of vocabulary I use and how intelligent I come off when using vocabulary throughout an assignment, I often write in a very relaxed style and often wish to come of sounding more professional.

All people can be considered "authors", from a child in elementary school writing their first short story, to a high school student writing a research paper, to a well known doctor writing their fourth book, anyone who creates a piece of writing, short or long, can be termed an author.

How I Learned to Write
How did I learn how to write? My friends and I always talk about how we will never forget our first teachers in elementary school. Mine was my Kindergarten teacher, Ms. Michaels. It is very possible that one of the reasons I will never forget her is because she taught me how to read and write. I still have, in my basement closet, my first writing projects and first books I learned how to read. I can clearly remember sitting with my best friend Julie at the tiny desk we shared, where we learned how to write. We started off simply with letters, lower case then capital, and by the beginning of first grade could write whole sentences. I can also clearly remember when I was able to write short stories my favorites subject to write about was my sister, Perri.
